Ezulwini Valley

The lush Ezulwini Valley ("Valley of Heaven") is one of Swaziland's major tourist attractions. It is centered around Lobamba, immediately to the south east of the capital Mbabane. Here you will find most of the top hotels, a casino, an 18 hole championship golfcourse, horse riding, hiking, and hot mineral springs.
King Mswati III lives in the Ezulwini Valley, and as well as his grand residence, there are many other monuments, museums and traditional villages to visit. The valley is also one of the best places to find exquisite Swazi crafts, including wooden sculptures, brightly woven baskets, dolls, kaftans and skirts, tapestries and solitaire boards. The work of the Swazi craftsmen and women retains a skill rarely found in the more commercialized African countries.
